Wallets & Accounts

A digital wallet manages blockchain addresses and signing credentials. Back up your recovery phrase before receiving or sending assets. Recovery phrases and private keys control access and should never be sent through chat or uploaded to cloud storage.

Adding & Choosing Networks

Assets are recorded independently on different networks. When adding ETH, TRX, BTC or EVM-compatible networks, verify the network name, fee asset and address format. Before transferring, confirm both sending and receiving networks.

Receiving & Sending

Provide the address for the correct network when receiving assets and verify the asset type. When sending, confirm address, network, amount and fee. For a new address, consider a small test first. After broadcast, review the transaction hash and confirmations in a block explorer.

DApps & Permissions

Verify the domain and network before connecting to a DApp, and review every signature or permission request. Avoid unnecessary unlimited approvals. Disconnect after use and regularly review authorized contracts. Third-party DApps and contracts carry technical and smart-contract risks.

Security Habits

Use trusted devices and controlled network environments, enable device locks and avoid untrusted software. Be cautious of remote-control requests, fake support, fake updates and fake airdrops. imtoken staff will not ask for recovery phrases or private keys or tell users to transfer funds to unknown addresses.
